Maiya School funds and runs education centres for adolescent girls in refugee camps.
Why We Exist
Maiya School was founded to provide teenage girls affected by displacement around the world the opportunity to attain an education, improving their own life, and the lives of those around them.
We are motivated to increase opportunities, raise self-confidence, and inspire a generation of girls living in refugee camps where female education is largely inaccessible.
Maiya School is a not-for-profit run by two young Australian women. We are currently implementing projects in the Rohingya camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
